Epure : a great gastronomic find, 100% French

Ingredients imported from France, a starred chef who trained at Trois Gros (Nicolas Boutin), Bernadeau tableware, frescos that send you straight to Versailles, a Dalloyau patisserie chef (Mathieu Godard), a cellar that offers both the greatest labels as well as small produce wines from Burgundy,  Bordeaux or Alsace. Not to mention the selection of courses that send you to all corners of the hexagon in the space of an evening….. We have found THE 100% made in France gastronomy restaurant! Or rather 100% French made in Hong Kong.

 

Make your way to Ocean Terminal on the  3rd floor , enter through the terrace where you’ll already want to stop to relax to take in the sky line view in the midst of trees, glass of Chablis in hand and why not a few fresh oysters.

 

Option 1: your journey ends here and you order a few foie gras toasts, a croque-monsieur with Comte or a Polmard steak tartar.

 

Option 2: it’s teatime, welcome to the Dalloyau-Epure Café for afternoon tea.

 

Option 3: you make your way through to the restaurant to find yourself in the gardens of Versailles, sit around a beautiful table to await the ballet of beautiful courses to come, sautéed girolles and escargots, seared foie gras with pomelo, chilled bluet lobster, roast wild turbot with multicolore radish, baba au rum with strawberry emulsion. It’s pretty, refined and served with a smile. What else is there to say? The wine is perfect, the atmosphere is calm and sophisticated. You want more? You can chose between 3 gastronomic menus: 4, 6 or 8 dishes with choice of 3 or 6 glasses of wine. We appreciate the freedom this leaves.

 

As many options and good excuses to come and come again to this 100% French affair!
