Maldives : This blue dream

Maldives : This blue dream
Are you short of inspiration for your next tanning and lazing destination? Don’t look any further, we have what you need. Pack your bags girls; we’re off to the Maldives! Your passport, which is (certainly) already pretty full, deserves this paradise stamp! For an exceptional getaway, stay on Cocoa Island. This private island houses one of the gems of the prestigious COMO hotel group. The bungalows, inspired by Dhonis (traditional fishing boats) sit on stilts and each includes a wooden terrace. From there, you can admire the lagoon, which varies from turquoise to deep blue and watch the colorful fish swimming around your villa. We warn you, you may even see sharks! We were told they were harmless, we didn’t check! Having said that, the more adventurous among us will go diving; the others will enjoy snorkeling to admire the sublime coral seabed. To get over your emotions, laze around on one of the deckchairs on the small white sandy beach. Sip one of the bar’s cocktails while taking in the sunset before dinner at the Ufaa restaurant. The menu is varied enough to not bore your taste buds throughout your stay. Treat yourself to the seafood barbecue and/or one of the themed dinners! We have to admit, the bill was hefty but you are worth it! And if your credit card survives, the only risk you are taking is to not want to ever leave this island!

Going there : Hong Kong – Malé with a connection in Singapore with Singapore Airlines (approximately 10 hours). Direct flights with Hong Kong Airlines and Mega Maldives Airlines.
Then the hotel’s speedboat
