Mezzé party at Sumac

December 4th 2010

Mezzé party at Sumac
Sumac. Does it ring a bell? This is the name of a shrub and a fortiori the name of the spice obtained from its seeds; but for us it is above all an address that we recommend! A few steps from the bustling Lan Kwai Fong lies this amazing Lebanese restaurant. You see the big turn on Glenealy? Well here it is! So next time, ask the taxi to stop by and just enjoy Sumac dishes. Mezze are just delicious. We feasted with hummus, falafel, tabbouleh and baba ghannouj. You can keep on sharing mezze with your friends or otherwise skip to main courses. We recommend you the "lahem meshwi”, beef skewers served with rice pilaf. A delight! Notice to the greedy ones, go for the plate of "baklava" as dessert. A treat! And most important, we conclude by some honey by spoon. No waste girls! Chocolate lovers will be tempted by the "autumn chocolatte" which is not bad either! And to ease our conscience, we end with some mint tea. Inside or in the small courtyard located behind the restaurant, it’s sure you will enjoy this address. So yes, we all tend to be a bit careful before Christmas holidays ... But it's definitely worth to put our diet on hold for a dinner at Sumac!
