TRi: A Balinese break in Repulse Bay

TRi: A Balinese break in Repulse Bay
If you are looking for the perfect setting for a nice and exotic evening, head to TRi, a Balinese restaurant in Repulse Bay. It is our heartthrob of the month. The decor is sublime. Part of the Le Comptoir group (behind Bibo et Hotshot), it dazzled us. Subdued lighting, wall-mounted planters, bamboo, lotus-shaped private booth seating, stone tables, a gigantic high table made from a massive tree trunk. Nature is basically the resounding theme of the restaurant, not to talk of the unbeatable sea view behind a row of palm trees. We recommend reserving one of the private booth for a more relaxed evening. But be sure to leave your high heels and mini skirt behind since you will be sitting on cushions. As for the food, our favorite was the Jejeruk Chicken, also try the Duck Goreng, and Lobster Bakar and the Nasi Goreng. The dishes are delicious and presented beautifully, while the waiters are attentive. For brunch lovers, TRi offers a superb champagne brunch. To drink, TRi has arranged a choice of free-flow Louis Roederer champagnes, beginning with the Brut Premier or, for the more discerning diners, the 2007 Cristal.
In short, this is definitely a place to try at once!
