Beyond Spring Cleaning

If you’re after seriously deep cleaning that won’t break the bank, check out Island Cleaning Solutions. We called their expert team in to clean our sofas, rugs and dining chairs. Their fabric Deep Cleaning service utilises the Rainbow Cleaning System, a powerful vacuum for removing dirt, dust, dust mites and other allergens followed by steam cleaning which is a safe and efficient way to sanitise fabrics, killing most germs and mites.

We opted for the Luxury Clean for our rugs and dining chairs which goes one step further making use of a professional water extraction machine aiding in stain removal.

Verdict: We were so impressed with the results! It was mind-boggling to see the amount of dust and dirt which came out of the sofas and I would say 98% of the stains were removed from the dining chairs. That’s a win for me! It’s true what they say “Clean your home, clear your mind”!

Having recently moved apartments, I am always on the lookout for stylish home décor and my current obsession…creating beautiful tablescapes. I was like a kid in a candy shop when I accidentally stumbled across Belevivi’s showroom located along Mee Lun Street in Central. It was closed so I quickly looked at their website and was swooning over their design-led brands they have brought to Hong Kong.

“We believe that shopping and discovering quality homeware should be fun and effortless,” says Belevivi co-founders, Jennifer Margolin and Sasha Dennig.  “Belevivi is designed to make you feel like you’re browsing luxury boutiques while on holiday, sifting through flea markets, and traveling the world discovering unique pieces for styling your home. We want to create an unforgettable and seamless experience for our customers.”
