Meet the pink dolphins

Meet the pink dolphins
Are you in the mood for a little quiz? Are you sure that you know all there is to know about Hong Kong’s fauna? Did you know that a crocodile lives here? Well that's a fact! Pui Pui leads a peaceful life in the Wetlands but don't worry, it has no intention whatsoever to come and disturb your peace! Did you know that pink dolphins live off the coast of Lantau Island? We didn’t believe it either when we heard about it. We had to own up to our ignorance though when we saw two pink fins venture out of the water then two like-coloured dolphins, swimming in the wake of our small fishing boat. Incredible! This unique species lives in the wilderness not far off the coast of Tai Ho. Their exceptional colour remains a mystery for scientists but really is amazing. Both the kiddies and their parents will be amazed. Upon the boat deck you can hear a chorus of “aahh”s and “oohh”s each time a dolphin pops out. Hong Kong Dolphin Watch organizes three outings a week. It’s educational and eco-friendly. Ideal for bringing out our little ones’ green streak. Don’t wait to book. Give our regards to the dolphins!
