Having first opened its doors in November 2020, The Grounds – the outdoor cinema bringing under-the-stars entertainment to the Hong Kong Harbourfront, is back this month. You can expect an exciting line-up of new releases, old-time classics and blockbusters movies to enjoy from the comfort of your very own, socially distanced, pod. What’s more, they’ve once again partnered with BaseHall – Jardine House’s premium food hall, to deliver a variety of delicious dishes straight to your pod.

This year again, and for the third year in a row, BaseHall – Jardine House’s premium food hall, is bringing Bavarian vibes, beer and German-inspired snacks to Hong Kong. Each of BaseHall’s eight food vendors has created an Oktoberfest inspired dish that will be available exclusively during the event and participants are invited to enjoy traditional games and entertainment such as tapping of the cask ceremony and Stein-holding competition.

Following the unprecedented success of “The Great Gatsby” presented last year by Felix at The Peninsula Hong Kong and Secret Theater (rediscover our review), the entertainment company and iconic restaurant are joining hands once again to welcome guests to a dazzling party night. This year’s immersive production will give the audience a taste of the legendary Studio 54, the Manhattan club that transformed New York City nightlife. The secret and stories of Elton John, Yoko Ono, Bianca Jagger, Freddie Mercury, Andy Warhol, Diana Ross and Blondie will set the stage alight. Guests will be invited to immerse in the disco atmosphere while enjoying a sumptuous three-course dinner and sipping on cocktail.
