Fleur de Sel, a lovely crêperie in Causeway Bay

Fleur de Sel, a lovely crêperie in Causeway Bay
Throw a crêpes party of course! Everyone is really crazy about this speciality from French Brittany. Most French people will fondly remember Gigi and her “crêpes au sucre” (crêpes sprinkled with sugar), in the hilarious French classic comedy “Les Bronzés font du ski”. Yes, the mere mention of the word crêpes is enough to put us in a good mood! So a pancake party is a must! Where? At Fleur de Sel, a crêperie that has just opened in Causeway Bay. Gregory Alexandre, the Chef, will delight you with his extensive menu. We couldn’t resist the galette “Super Complete". Ham, mushrooms, emmental cheese and egg. A classic but so delicious! If you happen to be a fan of Andouilles (traditional French chitterlings) you will want to savour the “Guéméné” galette. And should you feel a sudden urge for foie gras, you can go for the “Suprême”. Choosing a dessert was slightly more challenging. Toblerone, Kinder or macaroons, Gregory Alexander is a great innovator! We finally allowed ourselves to be tempted by a lemon juice and butter crêpe. Delicious! We returned there for tea on another occasion and the “Toblerone” was out of this world. Fleur de Sel is also open for lunch and offers very reasonably priced set menus. Make the most of the approaching crêpes -eating season (carnival) and come and discover this new address. Adults and children alike will melt with sheer delight!
