Bostonian Seafood and Grill: a champagne and seafood Sunday

December 1st 2016

By Delphine

An extensive two-month makeover but it was worth it! When stepping down to the lower ground floor of the Langham, we plunge directly in a US vintage atmosphere, made of wood and steel. It seems we are in the heart of a shipyard chic scene. First impression is great and we immediately forget about the bustling Tsim Sha Tsui. Beautiful photography are the only thing which remind us we are in Asia.

We had only just sat down, when the waitress fill our glass with champagne. We’re here to have a good time, right? Lobster on the buffet table is calling me (or I think it is…) as well as the oysters, the marinated fishes and the shrimps…. It’s gonna be hard to resist. What I haven’t planned was the pumpkin soup served on the table, followed by the pan-roasted foie gras and the grilled crab. Delicious. I cannot really say I am still hungry when the main comes, but how could I leave this lovely pancetta-rolled seabass? Champagne helps the digestion, just keep it easy and take your time.

So now here I am, ready for the dessert: a fruity pinky cheesecake magnum. Promised, tonight, it will only be a green salad…
