Because traveling isn’t really an option at the moment, I have rounded up the best restaurants for you to enjoy festive flavours from all around the world without leaving Hong Kong. Today’s round-up invites you to celebrate the festive season with a stellar dinner at some of the best restaurants in town.
 

Caprice

3 French Michelin Star restaurants for an indulgent festive season
With no less than three Michelin stars, Caprice promises a feast that will not only satiate your taste buds but also your eyes. On Christmas Eve, Chef de Cuisine Guillaume Galliot invites you the to a seasonal feast infused with just the right touch of luxurious indulgence with highlights such as the lobster bisque with sea urchin royal and the light Espelette pepper and the Brittany scallop with Oscietra Caviar from Maison Petrossian. Christmas Day dinner will be no less of an indulgence, celebrating the game season with a decadent venison pate en croute with delicate quince puree and warming our foodie hearts with the bouillabaisse from Toyosu Market served with lobster “boudin”. Last but not least, the New Year’s Eve dinner will have give 2020 a proper send off with an utterly festive capon served with black truffle and yellow wine sauce.

Executive Chef Nicolas Boutin is welcoming you for a one Michelin starred festive experience that will plate up the best of premium festive products such as sea-urchin, top-grade duck foie gras, decadent French oysters, scallops, prized blue lobster, wagyu beef, fine artisanal cheeses and many more. From December 24 to 26, the 5-course Christmas lunch menu and the 8-course dinner one will have our palates travel to France for an exquisite fine dining festive feast. On New Year’s Eve, some local delicacies such as abalone will be added to the menu.
 
5-course Christmas Eve lunch: on December 24, 25 and 26. HKD 888 per person
8-course Christmas dinner: on December 24, 25 and 26, from 6.30 pm. HKD 2,288.

L’Envol

3 French Michelin Star restaurants for an indulgent festive season
A star-studded Michelin dining celebration is what awaits for you at L’Envol where chef Olivier Elzer will be serving a 5 and 8-course festive menu throughout the entire month of December with highlights including the Hokkaido sea urchin with fregola cooked like a risotto and wasabi emulsion. Your sweet ending has been imagined by pastry chef Mandy Siu who will present you with a Comice pear, roasted walnut cream, fleur de sel sea salt and speculoos ice cream.
 
You are also invited to ring in the new year in the elegant setting of the restaurant with again a 5-course and an 8-course menu available and the option to make it even more extra by option for the 8-course Prestige menu crafted around five different caviar.
 
5-course and 8-course festive menu: from November 30 until January 1.
