The restaurant has only just opened its doors, and yet everyone is already talking about it. The space offers a large green area for picnicking, dining under the stars, or private evening events, all set on the second floor of a building steps away from the TST metro exit.
When we went, it rained, but thankfully the bright, stylishly decorated modern interiors turned out to be far from disagreeable. The young waiters were attentive, sprightly and welcoming, and this kept our spirits up despite the rain outside. The happy-go-lucky vibe made us stay on for hours afterwards.
A wide variety of organic dishes were spread across tables.
We stopped to have the trio of Spanish tapas served in small cassolettes, accompanied by half a toasted baguette. It was a great start. The cheese burger and fries that followed were simply divine. As for the perfectly cooked barramundi filet served with vegetables, that was delicious as well.
We will return for the picnic menu served in a basket on the lawn. Or even for the brunch with the family for some waffles, eggs benedict and fresh orange juice. Or why not for my beau’s next birthday, and I’ll invite about 50 friends to the garden, perhaps?
