Savouring Art

March 5th 2018

by Aude

It’s no secret that March is Art Month in Hong Kong, from Art Basel to Affordable Art Fair and Art Central there will be plenty of options for you to feed your brain and your artistic heart. But what about feeling your stomach (because at the end, food is life right?)?

Lan Kwai Fong just launched its 2018 Savouring Art Campaign and we must confess that this year is a pretty exciting one! Partnering w/ French (but Swedish born) famed graffiti artist, André, the group is spreading happiness around the city by making art edible. The eclectic work of André has become a source of inspiration for 12 restaurants to create a Savouring Art menu (click on each restaurant to see the menu):

I have been lucky enough to enjoy a very yummy preview of those happiness-inspired art menus and must confess a very huge crush on the Monsieur A (André signature graffiti) inspired Chocolate Mousse by Cé La Vi. This little sweet delish is definitely edible happiness! And I wouldn’t mind either going for another round of the Kisaeng Artisanal Cocktail from Jinjuu!

Launching end of the month at LOFT22 will also be “Happiness Culture”, a solo show by André. Stay tuned, we will update you on the opening party very soon as we heard it will be open to public. Looks like it is going to be a cool night! But in the meantime, let’s Savour Art, shall we?
