Robata Zawazawa: a bit of Japan in the heart of Central
We like the name. We love the place. We’d eat there every evening if we could… Why? First of all, it’s cosy and pretty. Ten or so stools at the kitchen bar and four high tables. Suspended flowery red paper lamps create a nice and friendly atmosphere. The chef is adorable and full of great advice. Secondly, the welcome is worthy of the welcomes you get in Japan. We love it! Thirdly, the food, of course! Absolutely succulent. We’d highly recommend the prawn dumplings (soft on the inside, crunchy on the outside), the chicken skewers with teriyaki sauce or the beef skewers with wasabi and pepper sauce (divine), the potato dumplings (as creamy as could be) and the udon (noodles). Pure B-L-I-S-S!
