PiyoPiyo Yakitori & Sake Bar: Japanese restaurant tucked up on Lyndhurst Terrace
This sweetly named Japanese restaurant is tucked up on Lyndhurst Terrace, and it boasts good simple food without being showy or pompous. Life feels good sitting at one of the high tables on their little terrace, with a bowl of edamame, a glass of wine or sake in your hand! What can you expect? Well, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and there’s plenty to choose from on the menu. To start with we’d recommend the green asparagus or tomatoes wrapped in bacon, the prawn tempura, the Japanese cheese rice cakes and some sashimi. For mains, go for the Angus beef steak with soba and/or udon noodels. We were really won over by their simple and original dishes. Itadakimasu !
