1 – Alcohol doesn’t travel well as it can get very hot in the container
2 – Always keep your private and important documents with you
3 – Scan photos or official documents… it will save space and they always be with you
4 – If you return to France make sure you get a “non cession” certificate from French consulate or if you are returning to the UK you need now to fill out the ToR – which is a new procedure
5 – make sur you prepare the customs clearance documents in advance before the printer is packed
6 – Ask for some cartons in advance for young children to pack their favorite toys for the big trip – they feel implicated and not so worried about it!
7 – The peak season is upon us – book in advance to avoid disappointment or high price
