NOSH launches new veggie meal plans

It ain’t easy being a food writer, am telling you. Not that I am complaining about the (almost daily) food tastings, the yummy restaurants am lucky enough to try and all the amazing food am indulging on, oh no I absolutely love it. Problem is: seems like my thighs and bottom are also enjoying themselves a bit too much.
I can’t do much about the eating out part, I ain’t gonna change job (am just enjoying myself way too much at the moment) and I’m not gonna restrict myself when at tastings either but I can definitely work on the eating healthier at home part. So, decided to give a go to NOSH 's new veggie meal plans offering: NOSH VEGGIE. 
 
A full day meal plan is designed for a 1,500 calories intake and comes with 3 meals and a snack, but you can also choose to only go for 2 meals. You’ll be treated to an array of vegetarian dishes (40 different vegetarian recipes, some even being vegan) chef-designed and using premium, sustainable ingredients such as organic whole grains and superfood veggies. When it comes to healthy, NOSH VEGGIE definitely is a winner but what about the yummy factor? Because I mean, I’m all in for eating healthier but ain’t really in for compromising on flavors. 
 
I have tasted 4 of the 40 brand new veggie recipes. 
 
The Moroccan Spiced Herb Couscous with Vegetable Tagine is by far my fav, loving the use of super flavorful spices. Who says veggie meals are boring? This couscous isn’t! 
 
The Japanese Vegetable Curry with Spice Edamame and Jasmine Rice was also a good surprise, but I wouldn’t have said not to maybe an extra spoon of curry (felt like there was maybe not enough curry for the rice serving). 
 
Also had the Warm White Bean & Barley Bowl with Portobello Mushroom and the Stir-Fried Vegan Crumble with Thai Sweet Basil and Bean String, Stir-fried Zucchini with Soy Sauce and Mixed Grain, careful this last one is pretty spicy but as for me I like it hot so loved it. 
 
To be honest I was a bit skeptical before giving it a go thinking, skeptical like “yeah, I know how it is gonna be, veggie plan … healthy but boring as hell and tasteless” but pleasantly surprised with the 4 dishes I’ve tried. So, no I ain’t gonna cut any of those food tastings am attending and enjoying but would definitely keep NOSH VEGGIE in mind for my healthy meals at home. 



NOSH Veggie Signature Plan starts from HKD 490 for a 3-days plan (HKD 164/day) with 2 meals (Breakfast + Dinner OR Breakfast + Lunch) and HKD 719 for a 3-days plan (HKD 240/day) with 3 meals.
