Much needed TLC at The Sanctuary!

Much needed TLC at The Sanctuary!
Everyone has different ways of treating stress which is why The Sanctuary offers several different treatments to help refind your inner balance (from aromatherapy, hot stone massage and reflexology to tai chi, qigong, yoga and meditation). For the more adventurous among you, they also offer hypnotherapy sessions called 'past life regression' and The Millennium Method which uses quantum physics and energetic medicine and is based on the idea that any blocks that are inhibiting the body, mind and soul connection can be removed. We had intended to try hynotherapy, but we chickened out at the last minute! Instead, one of us went for an aromatherapy massage and the other went for hot stones. The first one starts with a questionnaire to help the therapist choose the right essential oils, and then it's time for the massage! You'll feel thoroughly relaxed for the full 90 minutes, and you can really feel the energy starting to come back to your body. For the hot stone treatment, you don't need to do anything but let go. The therapist uses hot stones to massage the key parts of the legs and feet. As for the rest of the body, she simply places her hands in different areas to start circulating the energy. It really was an relaxing and detoxifying experience- and certainly worth trying if you're interested in alternative medicine.
