Mango Tree: Thai restaurant in the Cubus Building, Causeway Bay
Edit - January 7th 2018: this restaurant is now closed

It could have been the name of a green grocer’s but it’s a Thai restaurant! Let’s continue these last few weeks’ culinary journey. After Peruvian and Spanish, here’s a Thai restaurant. If you like highly spicy and tasty food, follow the guide! It’s all going on in Causeway Bay, in the Cubus Building to be precise. Sober and elegant decor, soft lighting, it all starts well! For the dishes, you’ll be spoilt for choice because the menu is huge. We opted for rice paper rolls to share as starters. Not bad at all! The pad Thai is very good and nicely presented. The fried rice is a winner too. Seafood fans will opt for the spicy prawns. After that, no room for dessert! The dishes were so copious we were full...And because we always have something to complain about (well, we are French!), we’ll say that the only downside of this place is the service. Not quite there in terms of friendliness and efficiency but we forgot all about that once we were sat with our friends and our dishes had been served!
