Fit crush: Figure Balance

My fav Yoga studio in town turned 2 in October and I tough it deserved a little shout-out! Super-efficient and adorable staff, quality classes and quiet small studio … a yogi paradise!

The studio is small which is great, you cannot rely be more than 4 or 5 per class and will end up most of the time being only 2 or 3. Almost like a private class. Just the perfect place to improve your practice and really relax. I don’t understand how people can really enjoy a yoga class with 20 or 30 participants! I need quiet and peace to focus on my breathe and my practice.

Speaking of practice, I have been all Hatha Yoga and Yoga Stretch so far but it is time for me to get out of my comfort zone. Aerial Yoga is my next move! If Pilates, Wall Rope Yoga or Core Yoga is more your thing, they got that covered too.

Foodie crush: Bones&Blades

I am a true believer of the moto “you are what you meat”. And being a giant bucket of hormones and chemical products is not really what I am dreaming of. But on another hand, I love food way too much to turn raw, vegan or something like this. Not that I am judging anyone but yes sometimes I am craving a good old rare ribeye.

I love Bones&Blades philosophy, being a delicatessen for conscious carnivores who wants to bring home quality meat. Being French, I have been used to go to my local shop (bakery, butcher, cheese monger) and chit-chat with the owner. I love to know the story behind the products and Bones&Blades reminds me of those traditional shop. I could have spent hours discussing with the team, hearing more about how they do the connection between the farm, the meat and what we eat and how they transform all meats in-house.
If you wanna go an ethical and super yummy twist to your next barbecue party, I definitely recommend the homemade sausages and the pork – so tender. And if pork is not your think, you can still go for a good old bone-in ribeye, but from a grass-fed beef please.

Fashion crush: The Mindful Company

Being kind to yourself, a must. Why would people wanna be kind with you if you are not with them and with yourself? I definitely love to compliment myself with some lovely mantra. And when mantra come engraved on collection of bracelets in 18K gold, 18K rose gold and 18k silver, it is even greater, don’t you think?

The Mindful Company has just launched in Hong Kong and their reminder bands are going to be perfect gifts for friends, family and loved ones. And for oneself to, of courses! Everyone needs a little help remembering what really matters sometimes.
‘Live in the moment’, ‘Be Present’, ‘Relax’ and ‘Be Kind’!
