Marks & Spencer brings Picard’s gourmet French frozen delights to Hong Kong

Madame Digests –October 2021
Ask any French person you know if they ever heard of Picard. I bet they’ll tell you not only that they know the brand but also that they love it. Because yes, Picard is our dirty little secret: a frozen food chain that also happens to be one of French people’s favourite international brands along the such as IKEA, Amazon, Apple and Sephora.

So what is it about Picard that makes us, people known for being so specific about their food, visit the stores on a weekly (when not daily) basis? Well, as Parisian and snobbish as it will probably sound, Picard isn’t just any frozen food brand, it is the brand that has succeeded in freezing, and encapsulating, the French diet. What are the most famous French ingredients and/or dishes you can think ok? Croissant, baguette, quiche, duck confit, gratin dauphinois, macaron, tarte tatin … name it, Picard has it. You’ll also find frozen herbs, finely diced and ready to use, and a whole range of frozen veggies and fruits to add to your recipes, making your life easier. Because that’s what Picard is all about, making your life easier without compromising on the taste. Wanna hear another little secret: if you are invited to a dinner party in France and the hostess serves canapes, petits fours and mini croque-monsieur for “l’aperitif”, chances are great it’s all from Picard and served to you straight from the oven.

The great news is, Picard is now making its debuts in Hong Kong with a selection of close to 100 products available at Marks & Spencer Cityplaza and Marks & Spencer Queen’s Road Central. Bon appétit!
