Madame Digests – July 2021
22JinStreet is the bohemian chic jewellery brand created in 2019 by Sophie, a French expat then based in China. Having recently relocated to Hong Kong, Sophie has also moved her brand and craft to the city and hand makes pieces that are either timeless or playful. Perfect for stacking and mix and matching. Her newest, and very playful, collection of bracelets, is all I wanna wear this summer : punchy colours, funky messages, liberty prints …

Bretzel brings a taste of Alsace, and flammekueche, to Hong Kong

Madame Digests – July 2021
There is no lack of French bistros in Hong Kong, yet until today none of them was serving specialties from Alsace. The Germanic region of France, lying on the west bank of the river Rhine, is mostly known for producing the world-famous Riesling wine and cooking up the deliciously addictive Flammekueche also known as “Tartes Flambées”. Often dubbed the French pizza, a tarte flambée is most commonly covered with fresh cream, sliced onions and lardons. Wanna give it a go? You’ll find it at Bretzel, the latest food joint by Johan and Gregory, the pair behind popular French bistro Bouillon.
