Le Rêve: Works of art in your plate

November 8th 2017

By Delphine

This one looks like a Picasso, that one like a Miro, and what about this Kandiski-like with a bit of Mondrian. Chef Isy was an artist before being a chef. Now he is a chef and an artist. Each plate is like a painting, eyes are spoiled. Crockery is very pretty, modern and unusual.

And what about our palate? It won’t be disappointed at all with the 6 or 8 course menus. A mix of Japanese and European products cooked with French techniques. The clam chowder is a perfect start. The Strataciella di Burrata is wonderful on her raspberry gazpacho, the grilled squid get married very nicely with an anchovy mousse. Following are a tender Simply black cod and its coriander broth and a Master beef with French trumpets. Several touch of fantasy sprinkle each plate: beer meringues, cranberry mustard, coriander crumble… Our smily waiter explains each dish perfectly well. They follow on one after each other very smoothly, to end with a refreshing and surprising wine sherbet.

Try not to Instagram each plate (hard, very hard) and simply enjoy, with your palate and your eyes.
