La Table de Patrick: Patrick Goubier’s latest establishment

Edit - January 7th 2018: this restaurant is now closed

Following Chez Patrick and the several Patrick Delis*, Patrick Goubier has now opened a new restaurant in the heart of Central, with a warm, intimate and cosy feel. Around ten tables in a modern bright setting, come discover a refined gastronomy-like cuisine that won’t break the bank. From the open kitchen, watch Patrick get busy assisted by his two chefs. He’ll love to chat with you should you choose to sit at the bar. Watch out, he’s very passionate!

To start, my langoustine ceviche with its poached oyster sent me straight by the sea. But I couldn’t resist the temptation to try the truffle egg mousseline. Delicious. Back to the seaside with the cod, beautifully cooked, with wild mushroom quinoa risotto (trendy but also really good). The sea urchin with lobster bisque is also great! For the carnivores out there, I was told that the venison with Jura Comte or the Black Angus beef fillet are to die for. The chocolate fondant cake is a must and goes without praise, you just need to try … and savour it.

I’ll be back to try the famous foie gras trio – chocolate sauce or the roasted rack of lamb. Thank you Patrick!
