La Crêperie: Brittany on your plate!

La Crêperie: Brittany on your plate!
You probably already know this address that’s situated at 100 Queen’s Road East in Wanchai. We do too, and have done since day one. But we have to admit that it took us some time to fully appreciate it. It was a difficult case: nice but not entirely satisfactory… And because only idiots never change their minds, we returned a few weeks ago. Once, twice and a third time, just to be sure. It’s official; we’ve become fans of La Crêperie! The savoury buckwheat crêpes are delicious and the team is efficient. There’s a large choice, from classics to more original ones. We recommend the Bigoudène (ham / cheese / eggs + mushrooms) and the apple / caramelised salted butter crêpe. All of that with a nice little pint of cider of course! When it comes down to the calorie count it’s not the best place on earth but in terms of flavours and pleasure, it’s pure bliss! In order to be original, you can try out one of the restaurant’s specialities from Brittany: chicken with herbs, oysters, fish soup, salagalettes (salad served on top of the buckwheat crêpes) or even Brittany rolls. Note: every Thursday evening you can feast on the traditional dish of moules / frites (mussels and chips).
You won’t be going there by chance anymore!
