Isono : Mediterranean cuisine at PMQ
Those who left Hong Kong for their break at the beginning of summer will not recognize PMQ. The shops have all opened and two of its restaurants have hit the headlines (check yesterday’s news). Today, we will talk about Isono, the restaurant with its Mediterranean flavors and chic design. We love the décor, reminiscent of Ammo, another restaurant from the same group. You have a choice between conventional tables, more casual cocktail tables, the bar and private rooms. It depends on the number of guests and your luck! The chef, Paolo Casagrande, has developed a guide with dishes from his childhood. Start with a basket of bread, focaccia and grissini with their tapenade. It’s delightful to accompany this with a drink! Extend the moment by nibbling on smoked salmon and / or ham. As a side dish, we recommend that you try the roast lemon chicken with rosemary potatoes.  The Tagliatelle with Bolognese was not bad at all, despite the pronounced taste of the parmesan. The paella we saw go past our noses looked enticing. We’ll try it some other time. For dessert, don’t miss a chance to try the crème brûlée with hazelnut. It’s a killer! In sum, a restaurant to add to your "to do" list!
