Celebrate Mother’s Day with a gourmet feast

This upcoming Mother’s Day – 9 May – is the perfect occasion to indulge on gourmet delights and I’ve rounded-up the best Mother’s Day spreads at some of my favourite restaurants in town.
 
 
La Dolce Vita
 
In Italy, la mamma is the cornerstone of the home and is celebrated by her family all year round. It is therefore not surprising that many Italian restaurants in town are celebrating “la festa della mamma” offering us plenty of options to enjoy authentic Italian fare on the day.
 
 
Spasso

With an outdoor terrace overlooking the Victoria Harbour, Spasso is a great option for families to gather and celebrate Mother’s Day alfresco. On Sunday 9 May, the restaurant will be serving a buffet-style brunch featuring a mix of classic Italian dishes such as the caponata ragout fusilli or the king crab risotto with asparagus.
