Carbone instantly takes you away from Hong Kong and brings you to mid-20th century New York. The time when The Temptations and the Supremes were at the height of their glory. The restaurant brings those music groups from the 60s back into the spotlight, tempting us to leave our food and dance frantically... But not to worry, we didn't do that. Instead, we just sat quietly, contemplating the warm and welcoming decor of the time period. Large leather sofas, brass chandeliers, art on the walls and tuxedo-clad waiters.
But even though we loved the atmosphere, we were less keen on the food, so we won't dwell on it. The American-Italian cuisine puzzled us... But we have to admit that desserts were pretty amazing. Let's just say we will be returning for a drink and to enjoy the cool vibe!
