Bubbly brunch at the Mira Hong Kong

January 5th 2011

Bubbly brunch at the Mira Hong Kong
It’s the same old story each and every Sunday. The fact that it’s back to work the following day somewhat spoils the fun. Well we have the perfect fix for your Sunday Blues. A Champagne brunch! But beware: as the saying goes, everything in moderation…. So head out to Kowloon, TST, the Mira Hotel. The Whisk, one of the hotel’s restaurants, offers a humongous scrumptious set brunch. The Louis Roederer Champagne and the sweet and savory dishes are to die for, and of course, it’s one of those “eat as much as you can” deals. It might be bad news for your figure but the food really is delicious! On the savory side: caviar, smoked salmon, pata negra, comté, brie and many more cheeses, salads, grilled meats and a nice selection of warm dishes. And if you have a sweet tooth, you'll be spoilt for choice too: muffins (really yummy!), pastries, macaroons, tiramisu, pana cotta, cheese cakes, chocolate cakes, clafoutis, ice creams. It'll make you, or rather your fork dizzy! We warmly recommend this brunch, as well as a little siesta afterwards. That’s our recipe for a Happy Sunday.
