Bite into delicious Tartine, the new French eatery on Lyndhurst Terrace

Edit - January 7th 2018: this restaurant will closed on January 15th 2018

Tartine is the latest arrival on the French gastronomy scene in Hong Kong. Recently opened, Tartine is already fully booked. It seems like Hong Kong’s foodies are eager to discover all the delectable tartines dreamed up by Michelin Star chef Philippe Orrico (who won accolades for the Upper Modern Bistro, and ON Dining) and Arthur de Villepin from Art de Vivre group (Yellow Korner art space). Tartine restaurant is on two levels and has a small terrace on the last floor. Its decor is down-to-earth, simple and elegant with photos from the Yellow Korner art space on the walls.

On the plates, superb: Seasonal, fresh ingredients, and the glorious smell of freshly made tartines. We recommend the pork rillettes as a starter and then the tomato, and burrata tartine. The crab & aioli tartine was not part of the lunch set, but we really wished we could have tried it. The Nutella brioche was 100% delicious. If you go for dinner with a group of friends, order a couple of tartines, one or two salads and a cheese platter from Frères Marchand not forgetting the bottle of wine. If you go along with friends for dinner, expect a great evening!

The only hiccup is the service. Forget it if you have a tight lunch schedule though.
