With Christmas upon us and international travel still a remote prospect, many of us will be spending the festive season in Hong Kong this year and more than ever December has to be an excuse for us to indulge on gourmet fare. Let’s wave goodbye to a challenging year with a gourmet bang. What do you say?

But back to treating ourselves … what are your Christmas dinner staples? Just because I won’ be flying back home doesn’t mean I won’t go grand this Christmas, no it doesn’t. I will have my French Christmas in Hong Kong, that’s it. Here is waht I'm planning to order, have a look at their festive selection , and let me know if I’m missing anything: Kristal caviar (starting from HKD 490 for 30g) to set the tone, wild salmon roes (HKD 180/100g) to serve on blinis (HKD 70) with a touch of fresh cream, foie gras, fresh organic smoked salmon from Ireland (HKD 260 for 200g), a yellow farmed capon (HKD 690 for 3kg) and a selection of French aged cheeses from, Master cheesemonger and Best Craftsman in France, Francois Bourgon. Mouthwatering isn’t it? 

Speaking of their foie gras, poultry and seafood, you want to know what makes it truly special? It is delivered to you fresh ; shipped straight from France to Hong Kong twice a week. So fresh it almost feels like shopping directly from the farmers and I do like farmers market shopping. On the butcher stall you will find meaty goodies such as the black farmed turkey, the yellow farmed capon, the farmed guinea fowl capon or the Barbarie duck but also beef striploin or beef ribeye for the red meat lovers out there . Moving onto the fishmonger stall, this is where you can stock up on bottarga, various types of fish roes and delicious varieties of hand-sliced smoked salmon.

All items marked as “pre-order” are subjected to specific order and delivery schedule. Order those items by Monday 1pm latest for next Tuesday delivery or by Wednesday 1pm latest for next Friday delivery. Other items are in stock, available for delivery from Monday to Friday with next day delivery if you order before 6pm. 
 
Order by Monday 14 December 1pm for a delivery by Christmas Eve.
Order by Thursday 17 December 1pm for a delivery by New Year’s Eve.
