Tokyo by Clem

September 2nd 2010

You thought that discover Tokyo in two days was an impossible mission? Nay! With this intensive program that we have tested for you. In the Land of the Rising Sun you have to get up early if you want to see the maximum of places in one week-end. Start your Tokyo discovery with Harajuku, the district of young and fashion people living in Tokyo. Near the subway you will find the Meiji sanctuary and its massive park, actual haven of peace. Then walk along Omotesando, the Japanese Champs Elysées and go back to Aoyama district to have lunch. Stroll through this charming area. Head for the Tokyo Tower. Before going back to your hotel, pop at Toraya, the cake shop where Monsieur the Emperor supplies himself. During the evening sip a cocktail at the New York Bar in the Park Hyatt Hotel where “Lost in Translation” was filmed. Then, treat yourself with okonomiyaki in a little restaurant. To finish your day, go to Shibuya, Tokyo's Times Square and get a drink at Piano Bar, a tiny red velvet-covered bar. Change of the scene guaranteed! The next day, start the discovery of Shinjuku. Once you will have tried it, we bet you will succumb to Tokyo's charms and wish to go again soon, very soon!
