Refresh your nails with a Russian manicure

Where:
Ooh La La Nails Central, 1/F, 1 Lan Kwai Fong
Ooh La La Nails Wan Chai, Room 2302, 2/F, Bayfield Building, 99 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai

Taking our beauty journey from head to toe, let's not forget the hands – the perfect canvas for a Russian Manicure. Unlike traditional manicures, this technique delicately softens and removes cuticles on dry nails, prioritizing nail health over a glossy finish. The result? A subtly polished, understated elegance that speaks volumes. Although this technique is still a rarity in Hong Kong, you’ll find it at Ooh La La Nails.
Venturing into their recently unveiled Central branch, I was captivated by the chic, inviting ambiance. It's hard to fathom that this tranquil haven resides in the bustling heart of the lively LKF district, creating an unexpectedly serene escape. The manicure results exceeded our expectations: impeccable and remarkably enduring (yes, I’ve kept it pristine – apart for the natural nail growth, for four weeks!).

Reset with a nourishing meal plan

A well-planned meal program not only nourishes your body but also helps in cleansing and rejuvenating from within. It’s a convenient way to have your nutrition needs sorted without the hassle of grocery shopping and cooking – so also frees up space in your mind! My go-to is the vegetarian meal plan from Nosh for its dishes variety – cue anything from paneer butter masala with pita bread and Vietnamese lemongrass tofu to miso eggplant with seaweed rice and Korean plant-based bibimbap bowl. My special tip: take a few more minutes to plate your meals in a nice dish rather than eating straight from the box, you’ll find it even more satisfying.

Add a touch of rose water to your routine

Known for its hydrating, soothing, and antioxidant properties, rose water is a game-changer that helps maintain skin pH balance, reduce redness, provide a refreshing boost and promote a healthy complexion.

In my quest for quality rose-infused skincare, I stumbled upon La Thea Cosmetics, and their Bulgarian rose-based serum and face toner have become staples in my routine. The serum, enriched with the essence of Bulgarian roses, deeply nourishes and revitalizes the skin, leaving it with a natural radiance. The face toner, delicately scented with the aroma of fresh roses, serves as a refreshing mist that hydrates and prepares the skin for further skincare steps.
