Le Port Parfumé

January 22nd 2014

Edit - January 7th 2018: this restaurant is now closed

Located in the heart of Noho, just at the bottom of Gough Street, is a new restaurant to review. For those who are demanding and uncompromising, read no further. In short, the service is not yet up to scratch: messy, slow, and inconsistent. For those who are a bit more lenient, have patience; you won’t regret it. The menu is generous, as well as the dishes themselves. Homemade recipes, absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned. Le Port Parfumé offers fish dishes of the day, grilled lobster, moules marinières, brandade, but also succulent beef dishes. For dessert, let yourself go and give in to the floating island, not bad at all. We like the décor: vintage cement tiles on the floor, grey walls covered in pictures and many random objects. Have a look at the old pair of wooden skis. Come along, no doubt we’ll cross paths there.
