Greenhouse: A Surprising Menu that Blends Asia with Europe and America

December 17th 2015

After the launch of Glasshouse and Townhouse, Greenhouse is the latest concept of the Gaia group. The idea is the same (why change what works?) but this time we are headed to the 10th floor of Times Square.

The room is bright and spacious, with an open kitchen and a bar for cocktails and all kinds of cold beverages made with soda, tea, fruits and some more unusual ingredients  (red beans with frozen cream or tea, water melon and Thai basil…).

As for the food, there’s something for everyone. From smaller bites to larger dishes, you can choose from small bowls of soup to sharing platters of skewers. You will find a blend of European and Asian food, American classics with Japanese sauce, a Vietnamese version of the French tartare, cauliflower pizzas, prawns with duck eggs, noodles with crayfish, chicken liver and Serrano Spanish ham, Balinese-style grilled chicken... You must try it all, allowing for surprises.

Don’t leave without trying the desserts! There’s the beautifully layered crepes (served with marshmallows and red fruit), we also discovered the tiramisu served with popcorn and the wasabi chocolate mousse, as well as the Candy Crush of ice cream.
