Eat My Words: a language/cooking school for the little ones

February 21st 2012

What’s that? A language school for the little ones. But not only. This is about having fun while learning. We love the idea! The concept, unique in Asia, is simple: Eat My Words offers language courses for children from 3 to 11 years old, but instead of using traditional teaching methods, the school uses cooking as a means of learning. This approach, of which the benefits have been long recognized, is called activity based learning. We like the concept. It is original and fun for the kids. Delphine Arker, who heads this great initiative, now offers lessons in English and in French. Classes in Mandarin and Spanish will be available starting from March. Fab! The icing on the cake? Your little ones come home with cakes baked by their own hands. So if you are in need for inspiration for the week’s desserts, that one less thing to worry about. Seriously, we approve 100% this totally different way of learning. Only positives for the wits of our kiddies. So enroll them quickly!
