Sipping a cocktail while taking in a breathtaking view seems like a perfect plan now that the weather is getting slightly cooler and the sky clearer. Don’t you think?

Café Grey Deluxe

The Upper House is turning 10 this year and, still after 10 years, Café Grey Deluxe at Upper House is very undoubtedly one of the bars with the most amazing view over the city. I can never get enough of afternoon tea and sunset drinks at Café Grey Deluxe and their new Autumn-inspired series of cocktails – The Autumn cocktails - is just the perfect excuse for me to enjoy the panoramic views of Victoria Harbour.

Hong Kong Madame fav cocktailSALT OF THE EARTH (HKD 125), a vodka-based savory cocktail with a nod to Japanese dashi

The Autumn Cocktails are available until November 30 2019.

La Rambla by Catalunya

La Rambla by Catalunya just unveiled the new look of its 4,200 sq.ft. outdoor terrace situated against sweeping views of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong’s iconic cityscape. And what better way to celebrate this brand-new look than with a drink or two? The revamped terrace offers a new cocktails menu making it a perfect place to sit back and soak up the views while sipping on one of the creations from Group Beverage Director, John Nugent.

Hong Kong Madame tips: Order a jug of Sangria during happy hour (HKD 450 – from 3 pm till 8 pm) and receive a complementary sharing platter of Iberico ham and olives.

Hong Kong Madame fav cocktail: The Clover Club (HKD 120), a gin lover treat with Gin, Fino Shery (dry white wine from Spain), raspberry, lemon and aquafaba

The Lounge at ZEST by Konishi

High above On Lan Street, where was previously On Dining by Chef Philippe Orrico, now is a chic and modern lounge boasting amazing views over the street of Central and Victoria Harbor. Welcome to The Lounge at ZEST by Konishi, a space where to break up the day, celebrate its end of prepare for gastronomic indulgence at downstairs acclaimed restaurant by Japanese chef Mitsuru Konishi.

I’m loving the elegant yet welcoming atmosphere and the cosy booths with banquette seating in turquoise and powder blue. The best seat? On the terrace, of course! Nothing like a glass of Champagne at sunset, right?

In the mood for some spectacular cocktails?  You are in the right place. Acclaimed Italian bar manager Jonny Amir has crafted a series of exclusive cocktails based on the concept of ‘layering” to ensure a multi-sensory experience. Hope you brought your phone because between the beautiful design, the breathtaking view and the amazing cocktail glasses (Eau de Mer – caviar-infused rum, white port, house-made seaweed syrup and earthy Roots Mastic liqueur – for example is served in a seashell) The Lounge is an instagrammer dream. Oh, and did we mention they offer complimentary house-made snacks from 5 to 8 pm?

Hong Kong Madame fav cocktailQuinine (HKD 138), inspired by the original Gin & Tonic that was created by British military officers stationed in India who would combine quinine, a prevention for malaria, with citrus and their daily gin ration. And now I don’t like it just because it is served in a diamond-shaped glass (call me posh if you wish) but also because it’s yummy and dangerous with its Spanish Gin Tonica, white peach liqueur, white port and burnt honey. God, I swear I could easily drink 3 glasses of this.

Hong Kong Madame fav cocktailSEXY – SHE SAYS THAT A LOT (HKD 160) with Champagne, jasmine, Bergamot, Fizz and London No. 3 Gin. Because hey, girl nights call for Champagne, right?
