Bisque, Lobster & Champagne

Do these words make you feel dreamy? Same effect on me. As a major fan of lobster, you can very well imagine how I clambered my way in search of this tiny restaurant, which contains only 7 tables. You’ve got to book well in advance. It was therefore with great joy that I was finally able to try it out, together with three friends, on a tiny table. Ready for our feast, we cracked open a bottle of champagne. As a starter, we had the wonderful spinach puffs. Next, we tried the mini lobster burgers. It was perfectly executed. We then diverted a bit and tried a plate of cold cuts and grilled vegetables, and it was absolutely delicious.  

For our main, we first went for the classic lobster cooked in butter and grilled to perfection. A delightful experience. We had no choice but to devour it. The second lobster was cooked in spices and herbs, and we smoked it down. For those who like spicy food, go for it, but those like myself who prefer simplicity when it comes to lobster, it’s best to go for the grilled option. Everything was served with freshly baked bread, leaving no space at all for dessert. 

We really had a good time, in a lovely, calm and relaxed atmosphere, and seeing the chef work from behind the bar was a splendid sight. The only snag was that it was a bit of a wait between each dish. In any case, we thoroughly enjoy our meal when it eventually came!
