FUMI launches Saturday Japanese Brunch

Not sure how you feel about buffet and all-you-can eat menus. As for me, I have kind of mixed feelings about it. On one hand, the greedy girl inside me love it (I mean, is there anything not to love about unlimited food?) and on the other hand, the posh foodie girl that I can be also thinks that unlimited food means lower quality. I’ve definitely had tasted a few buffet that I didn’t like. But if you can serve me all-you-can-eat food that is as yummy and fresh then you’ve definitely find the way to my heart, just like FUMI did last Saturday.

Who’s in the mood for made to order all-you-can-eat sushi? I definitely am.

First thing first, the atmosphere (I know, I know, you wanna know more about the food, you little greedy readers, but give me a minute, food will be served soon): bright and welcoming. This is actually something I really love about the California Tower, I find that most of the restaurants there are spacious and bright and FUMI is one of those.

Oh and here comes the snack platters. Can’t say no to something to snack on while having a look at the sushi menu and deciding which ones to order. But after all, why bother? It’s all-you-can-eat so you know what, let’s order one of each! I wanna try them all: the Sea Bream, the Young Yellotail, the Striped Jack, the Salmon, the Scallops, the Sweet Prawns

Sushi are made to order (which I love) so while waiting for them to reach the table let’s enjoy the crispy Tempura – loved it, wasn’t greasy at all - and the Grilled Skewers included in the brunch menu.

House Sake anyone? This August, the free flow package is complementary for all guests.

I may, or not (I leave it to you to find the correct answer), have ordered and eat more than my share of sushi. Couldn’t help it!

You are still craving more? Additional dishes such as the Miyazaki Beef Ribeye with Kyoto Tofu Hot Pot (HKD 238) or the Grilled Miyazaki Beef Sirloin (HKD 498) are also available.

Now that’s what I call brunching my way through Saturday!
