I’ll have to admit that when I was offered a studio photo-shoot with my husband and children for one hour, I wasn’t that thrilled. Posing in front of a camera has never been my cup of tea, my daughter always makes a face and my husband looks away. Well, today, believe it or not but I’m dreaming about going back! The shoot was quite simply a unique moment we shared with laughter.
 
Rick, our photographer, a pro with more than 10 years of experience, managed to keep us engaged using his uncanny imagination. He completely adapted to our moods and personalities. We had a photographic style board which really helped us determine the direction we took the session (fun, dramatic, colorful, lively, static…), helped by Rick’s professional advice.
 
A week after the shoot, you have another appointment to view the photos on a big screen with a nice cup of coffee, and chose how you would like to produce the images into art work for your home. It’s SO hard, they’re all amazing! You can also choose from a large selection of hand-crafted frames (classical, contemporary, innovative designs, mosaics…) all using state-of-the art printing techniques. That’s another dilemma. Thankfully Rick guides you along based on your existing interior and your budget.
 
A few weeks later, our exceptional finished photographs are delivered to the studio, beautifully framed. It presides in our living room and is the talking point for everyone who enters the room.

So what’s the story behind Yellow Korner? In 2006, two photography fans Alexandre de Metz and Antoine Briat came up with a brilliant yet simple idea: make photography art more accessible to everyone by increasing the number of prints for each piece. Today Yellow Korner is present worldwide and established in Hong Kong since 2013.
 
Yellow Korner is also an opportunity to discover or rediscover artists from different photography genres: Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s captions from above, Laurent Baheux’s majestic wildlife pictures, Gainsbourg’s portraits by Xavier Martin, or Slim Aarons’ Hollywood vintage, not to mention all the different young talented artists that could be the next big thing. Enjoy playing model for a few hours and striking a pose in front of a Venture Photography photographer. You can choose from portrait/ family/ friend or couple shots, and which ever you choose you're sure to get a really good experience- as well as a great pic! Venture Photography listens and understands how you want the photos to look, and they let you find the most comfortable and genuine poses. If you love camping, why not have your photo taken inside a sleeping bag or even a tent?! They want ensure the photo shoot really reflects your own personality, so you should do the same; it can only make the photos better! When the photo shoot is over, you get to go to the studio to see all the shots. They'll show you them all first, and then you can choose your favourite one. Once you've selected it, it's time for it to be retouched and framed. Remember to chose the frame carefully - it adds the final touch to the photo, so don't rush this stage, take time to look at the full range of frames available first. For you indecisive ones, if you're not sure which to choose, there is the option of getting a photo album made or even purchasing the iPhone app. Otherwise, after selecting the frame, you just need to wait for your master piece to be delivered! Then hang yourself up on the wall and enjoy looking at yourself again and again!
