We’re of course talking about the new Longchamp boutique in Hong Kong. We had the honour and the privilege of being invited to the opening event which was graced by the presence of the star of the brand, none other than Kate Moss… So we’re very proud to be able to reveal more. No need to say the scene is breathtaking. The famous architect Eric Carson has designed 400 square meters of pure bliss. The noble materials he’s used such as wood, lacquer, glass, leather sprinkled over with Hong Kong inspiration have given an exquisite result. A feast for the eyes and a delight for fashionistas like us. We rushed for the colourful Pliage range. In a different style, we fell in love with the black basket-bag “Faraway On The Road”, a gem from the top model’s collection. Don’t waste time, walk into Maison 8 and let the magic do its trick...

Become a clutch maniac with Mischa Designs

You are crazy about bags and love unique creations? No doubt, you will fall under the spell of Mischa's bags and accessories! Teacher by training, Michelle Lai has taught for 7 years before focusing on her passion: fashion and design. Luckily she decided to launch herself into it in 2004. Inspired by her second passion, Japanese culture, she created a line of bags and accessories made from authentic obi, belts used to do up traditional Japanese clothes, and kimonos that she finds when she travels in the Land of the Rising Sun. Sophisticated and elegant, each creation is unique and timeless. We just love them! The designer has recently added new design, among those a leather bag with a set off handle in Japanese fabric. She just launched a line of new handbags, the Mischa Jet Set Tote - with Mischa’s own printing: an hexagon signature print - which should be all the rage in September 2010. An obi belt line should be launched very soon. Stay tuned or keep an eye on Michelle Lai's blog to be one of the first aware of Mischa's news!
