Because based on that, the place I’ll be heading to will be different), the Latin food I have been missing on since moving here is the Spanish one.&nbsp; <br />  &nbsp; <br />  So, when I was invited to spend a&nbsp;<strong>Sunday En La Boqueria&nbsp;</strong>(<em>editor’s note: Barcelona’s most famous food market</em>) I thought I should give it a go. <br />  &nbsp;</div>

Guys, bring on the tapas and the croquetas I’m ready!&nbsp; <br />  &nbsp; <br />  What’s the first thing which comes to your mind when thinking Spanish food? For me it’s jamon iberico. <br />  &nbsp;</div>

      <div style="text-align: justify;">I am just obsessed with jamon … And Sunday en La Boqueria actually starts at LA BARRA (the bar) where you can indulge on a buffet of super yummy jamon iberico, cured meats, Catalan ensaladas and bruschettas. A nice fresh start infused with Catalan sun and flavors.&nbsp; <br />  &nbsp; <br />  If tortilla is your thing, make sure to visit the eggs station.&nbsp; <br />  &nbsp; <br />  Tapas are then served straight to the table. Probably my fav part of this brunch. I mean, what is there not to love about&nbsp;<strong>Bikini</strong>, a jamon-and-cheese grilled toastie layered with black truffe,&nbsp;<strong>Jamon Croquetas &nbsp;</strong>and&nbsp;<strong>Patatas Bravas</strong>. At this point, I am not even counting the calories anymore all I care about is: what’s coming next (and should I go back to the buffet for another round of jamon or would that be too much)? <br />  &nbsp; <br />  For those of you who first associate Spanish food with Paella, and for those like me who are just keen on ordering everything that is on the menu, Paellas here are made to order and 3 options are available.&nbsp;</div>

      <div style="text-align: justify;">Guests are also advised to choose one main dish to share between two from the<strong>Traditional Suckling Pig</strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>Josper Charcoal Grilled Turbot&nbsp;</strong>and the&nbsp;<strong>Wagyu Beef Cheek</strong>. It’s not often that I surrender when it comes to food but had to say no to the main … just so that I can have another round of tapas and jamon. Oopsie doopsie!&nbsp; <br />  &nbsp; <br />  As for dessert: you’ll be served something sweet straight at the table and will also be invited to check the desserts buffet.&nbsp; <br />  &nbsp; <br />  Was really pleasantly surprised with the quality of the ingredients selected by executive Chef Ferran Tadeo. I often feel like buffet brunch are an excuse to serve enormous quantities of food but with less regardance toward quality of the food but La Rambla isn’t like that.&nbsp; <br />  &nbsp; <br />  Oh and did I mention the free-flowing Veuve Clicquot Champagne (just a shame it's so expensive compare to other free flows)? I didn’t yet? Seems like French Chef Philippe Orrico was kind of missing this one too as he just launched its Sunday roast inspired brunch: The French Roast.&nbsp; <br />  &nbsp; <br />  With its beautiful view over Central district, its natural light and its super enjoyable terrace, Michelin-starred ON Dining makes the perfect place for a leisury Sunday.&nbsp; <br />  &nbsp; <br />  Kicking-off with appetizers to share with the whole table:&nbsp;<strong>Fresh Oysters</strong>, the signature&nbsp;<strong>Foie Gras Crème Brûlée</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Truffled Scramble Eggs&nbsp;</strong>(yaass),&nbsp;<strong>Roasted Prawns Persillade</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Mussels “à la marinière”</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Scallops Ceviche</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Artichokes Salad</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Tomato Salad w/ Japanese Bacon</strong>and&nbsp;<strong>King Crab/Avocado bite</strong>. A super yummy and refreshing way to kick things off.&nbsp; <br />  &nbsp; <br />  Then, you’ll have to choose your main. I definitely recommend going for one of the roasted carving meats to make it a proper Sunday roast but a few fishy options are also available.&nbsp; <br />   <br />  &nbsp;</div>

First of all because Sunday chicken definitely is a thing in my family, then because ON Dining’s chicken is probably the best chicken in the world … perfectly tender, not dry at all. Never thought chicken could be that pornfood!&nbsp; <br />  &nbsp; <br />  Not trusting me (but why?) and keen on trying something else than the chicken?&nbsp;<strong>Grilled Lamb Cutlets</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Smoked “Black” Wagyu Flap</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Black Cod Teriyaki&nbsp;</strong>or&nbsp;<strong>Squid Ink Linguini&nbsp;</strong>are ready for you to dig in. <br />  &nbsp; <br />  You might also wanna consider grabing a bunch of friends in case you wanna order the&nbsp;<strong>Côte de Boeuf&nbsp;</strong>or the&nbsp;<strong>Whole Atlantic Sole&nbsp;</strong>to share (minimum 4 people).&nbsp; <br />   <br />  &nbsp;</div>

      <div style="text-align: justify;">The last Saturday of every month, Carbone hosts a very unique feast: The Fiasco. And I can tell you this brunch is like nothing I’ve ever seen before in the 852. I won’t tell you too much as not knowing what’s coming-up is probably one of the best thing of this brunch but you can definitely expect dancers and gangsters fights throughout your meal. Also make sure you are in a party mood as you’ll be often invited to jump of your seats and dance with your friends. And if you are not in a party mood no worries, between the Limoncello shots and the free-flowing Champagne, you’ll soon be willing to join the party … But watch out, I’m telling you this is a dangerous brunch (between the shows, the darkness and the alcohol, you’ll might have forgotten where you are when getting out in the day-light 4h later).</div>    <div style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</div>

      <div style="text-align: justify;">But that’s me, already saying too much. Oh and if you are afraid the show might actually steal the show and food being forgotten, not at all. I’m actually not sure I have ever been treated to that much food during a brunch (maybe to compensate the fact that I have never either being treated to that much Champagne). Be prepared for a New-York style Italian feast: seafood platter, creamy burrata, Caesar salad, beef carpaccio, few rounds of pasta, tiger prawns, chicken parmesan, steak and dulce.&nbsp; <br />  &nbsp; <br />  This brunch ain’t no cheap deal for sure, actually probably one of the priciest in Hong Kong but you know what? You’ll definitely see me hitting the Carbone’s dancefloor another time. It’s just so much fun, so much food, so much Champagne … so much everything.
