     <div>
      <div> As soon as the clock strikes 6pm at Whisk, the lights go out and the candles make an appearance. Don't worry, it's not because they haven't paid the electricity bill! If you've ever tried closing your eyes when you're tasting wines and dishes, then you'll know how it helps you appreciate the flavours. This is big part of the concept at Whisk, and it's designed to sharpen your taste buds. The restaurant is softly lit with hundreds of candles for a unique sensory dinner experience. As your senses go into overdrive, it's the perfect time to appreciate a bottle of Grand Cru (Classé or not!) or the vintage bottle you've been wanting to try for a long time. Whisk's wine list is truly breathtaking- and so are the prices, which are practically unbeatable (a price point nearly leveled with cost prices). What a fantastic excuse to treat yourself to a bottle of Château Angélus, Palmer, Beychevelle or Talbot! It all depends on personal taste of course, but with an extensive wine list of over 200 wine labels, including vintage champagnes, you really have the finest selection (also available at lunch time) to impress with! It goes without saying that the food is of an equally high standard. This place is an absolute must for foodies and wine lovers.</div> <div> &nbsp;</div> <div> Whisk - Enlightened wine &amp; dine</div> <div> From Tuesday- Saturday</div> <div> Level 5, The Mira Hong Kong, 118 Nathan Road, TST, Kowloon, Hong Kong</div> <div> Reservations: +852 2315 5999 | <a class="link" href="javascript:protected_mail('whisk@themirahotel.com')" >whisk@themirahotel.com</a> </div> <div> &nbsp;</div> <a class="link" href="http://www.themirahotel.com/portfolios/whisk/" target="_blank"><span style="color:#ff99cc;">www.themirahotel.com/portfolios/whisk/</span></a>

     </div>
     <div>
      Here’s our latest HK food tip: Eric Kayser -the famous French baker and pastry chef- has opened a shop at Harbour City! Forget those ‘carb-free’ New Year’s resolutions and get on the next Star Ferry over there! The bread certainly made a great impression, but our favourites had to be the almond ‘financier’ cupcakes. We were already drooling, just looking at them in the display cabinet. Then, as if we hadn’t already set our hearts on them, we overheard a French guy telling his girlfriend that they were the “speciality of the house”…So of course we took one each! The plain ones were delicious; the raspberry ones tasted so good, (and it even cleared our calorie conscience a little bit to know there was real fruit inside!) There were also chocolate ones and some pistachio/cherry ones and even some speciality versions, but we really had to stop ourselves before it got out of hand! Be it breads, pastries or danishes you fancy, whatever flavour you want or whatever time you visit, you’ll certainly find a treat for your taste buds at Monsieur Kayser! If you’re more of a savoury fan, give the adjoining restaurant a go, and for those in a hurry, there’s a range of salads, sandwiches and quiches available at the shop too. Clearly they’ve got it covered- which means you’ve got no excuses! <br />  &nbsp; <br />  Maison Eric Kayser <br />  Shop G14 - G15 Ocean Terminal, Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, +852 2736 2884 <br />  <a class="link" href="http://www.maison-kayser.com/">www.maison-kayser.com</a>  <br />  &nbsp;

     <div>
      <div class="main_contents"> First off, we love the name! Secondly, babouch style shoes are soooo à la mode right now! It’ll no great surprise that Hong Kong is getting in on the babouch trend. Lookmybabouch.com has a modern take on the oriental tradition of the classic slipper. This version, created by Nacim Ben Moussa has a subtle east meets west look that is just timeless. What’s more, it’s trendy, comfortable and easy to wear too. We just love them! The website is as well designed as the shoes, so you should defiantly go there to get a taste of the Look My Babouch concept and choices. Three styles are currently available: Menzel, Harissa and Jasmine. We wanted to try them all! Guys, boyfriends, husbands, and brothers have got the choice of all three, and for girls we like Jasmine; the symbol of Tunisian beauty. Come on and join the babouch revolution! <br /> &nbsp; <br /> LookMyBabouch.com <br /> Available online (if the shoe size doesn’t fit, you can exchange them.
