   <title>A weekend in Kota Kinabalu</title>

     <div>
      <div> We could advise you to pack up your Timberlands, to slip on your rucksack and set off on a long trek to mount Kota Kinabalu. We could tell you about the breathtaking views and the aches and pains that we endured from all the walking. But, that's not really our style is it? Rather, our suitcases were packed with a flashy bikini, a sarong, a straw hat and some anti wrinkle sun cream! You get the idea? We recommend you just go and relax at the Gaya Island Resort on Pulo Island, and do...absolutely nothing (except maybe the short walk from the pool to the beach, &nbsp;splashing around in the sea, enjoying a Bloody Mary at the pool bar and relaxing at the spa between a yoga class and pre dinner drinks). This doesn't mean you can't take a little one hour hike around the island, do some driving or kayaking of course. The hotel offers a variety of different activities all day long. You should definitely consider booking lunch on a private beach (we missed out in that unfortunately but we really recommend you do it). &nbsp;The hotel is very good: it's not the Four Seasons but it's not at all bad. It's surrounded by incredible vegetation, spacious bedrooms and they have super comfortable beds. And don't forget the little terrace outside your bedroom which is the perfect setting for a last little drink before bed...</div> <div> &nbsp;</div> <div> Gaya Island Resort</div> <div> Malohom Bay, Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park</div> <div> 88000 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia</div> <div> Information : +60 18 939 1100</div> <div> Reservations : +60 3 2783 1000 or</div> <div> <a class="link" href="javascript:protected_mail('travelcentre@ytlhotels.com.my')" >travelcentre@ytlhotels.com.my</a> </div> <div> &nbsp;</div> <div> How to get there :</div> <div> Air Asia or Cathay Pacific (3 hour flight) + 5 minutes by road + 15 minutes by boat</div> <div> &nbsp;</div> <div> <a class="link" href="http://www.gayaislandresort.com/intro.htm" target="_blank">www.gayaislandresort.com</a> </div>

     <div>
      What if before leaving HK, you’d visit the whole of Asia Pacific? Discover new places, meet local people and store as many memories as possible? This is the adventure David and Andrea, two young French people who spent two years in Hong Kong, decided to live before going back to Europe. Here they are out and about since September 21. During the next ten months, they plan to visit China, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Burma, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Mongolia and even Russia. What a program! They also plan to meet expats in each of the countries to see how they live, what they like and dislike there. Good info to have if you want to move somewhere else in Asia! Last but not least, their journey supports a charity! By supporting them, you do a good deed as 50 % of donations will be donated to Make a Wish, an organization that fulfills the dreams of sick children. In short they are only good reasons to follow and contribute to their journey! Obviously we’ll keep you posted on their adventures! <br /> &nbsp; <br /> Follow David and Andrea through their blog&nbsp;<a class="link" href="http://projectonestepfurther.weebly.com/">http://projectonestepfurther.weebly.com/</a>
