Have you ever dreamt of a smile like George Clooney’s? But on you, the Nespresso may leave a trace…

You’ve tried whitening toothpastes but they’ve not really worked. What’s next, descaling? OK, but like everyone you are not a fan of going to the dentist. So, you just have to accept your teeth a little browner each year? Eh, no! The Smile Bar just arrived in Hong Kong and it’s magic! Julien, a frenchy with a brilliant smile worth a million bucks opened the Smile Bar a few months ago and trust me, it’s really going to take off.

Here’s how it works: You are welcomed with a smile and taken to a comfortable red sofa, where you are told that the procedure would be painless, and risk-free for the enamel of the teeth, while removing the stains on the surface. Products are Swedish-made and certified. The procedure starts with brushing your teeth and rinsing with mouthwash, then matching with a color palette.
Personally, my score was 32 out of 40, not great. Julien applied gel on the tray which you have to bite into before being exposed to a LED light for 20 minutes, enough time to relax. You even get an iPad with earphones, but you may just fall asleep instead. Afterward, you can restart the process if the results are not to your satisfaction.

After two sessions, I had a 22 out of 40. Not bad! No scientifically-proven contraindications nor particular restrictions once out. I could even go straight away for a burger if I wished, but now with a brilliant smile.

Admittedly, I was skeptical but have now been won over!
