Are you familiar with design brand Tom Dixon? If so, you might find it strange to see the British product design brand featured here in a beauty column, but they recently launched their Bath & Body range and I’m slightly obsessed with it.  
 
You know me, I can’t help but falling for a beautiful packaging and, as you would expect from a design brand, the packaging of this range is beautiful. 
 
The collection offers three different scents, all aiming at capturing the fleeting beauty of an English summer’s day and includes body balm, body wash and bath and shower oil. 
 
Hong Kong Madame’s fav: the Royalty scent with its fresh notes of lemon, earl grey tea and cedarwood. It kind of smells like having tea in a blooming garden.

This summer, I was lucky enough to spend 2 weeks in the US between New York and Miami and I did make sure to stock on beauty products. God, I do love American beauty brands! This hair oil is by far the best product I purchased during my trip: it’s texture is perfect, not to oily it smoothes perfectly through dry hair and you only need 2-3 drops meaning that the bottle actually lasts you forever, and the summery fresh scent with notes of orange blossom is absolutely addictive.

CHANTECAILLE – JASMINE & LILY HEALING MASK 

I was so lucky with the weather during my trip in Miami. Sorry Hong Kong but I do love a dry and sunny summer! I spent my days tanning in the sun (with sunscreen, always), diving in the sea and being lazy by the pool. Loved it! My skin liked it a bit less though to be honest and is quite dehydrated at the moment. This mask is exactly what I needed: incredibly soothing and softening, enriched with vitamin B5, chamomile and red seaweed extract to help moisturize the skin. 
 
I also loved it that it is based on aromacologie meaning that it uses pleasant fragrances to promote positivity in your mind and on your mood. No wonder why I find its jasmine and Lily scent addictive and reassuring!

I’m not the kind of girl to only wear one perfume. I actually wear many different perfumes and choose which one to wear based on my mood, the weather, the season, my plans for the day … But if I can’t be loyal to just one perfume, I do have my go-to perfume brands where I know I’ll always find a scent that matches my mood of the moment. diptyque is one of them.
 
Do Son was inspired by one of the brand’s founders’ childhood summer spent in Alon Bay where the sea breeze carries the spicy scent of tuberoses. I love love love this very sensual floral scent.

This brand is quite different from the 4 ones above. More modern, it revolutionizes classic codes of scented candles with spotlight prints and scents imagined to remind you of a journey, a brand, a memory or a moment of your life.

Well Advent Calendars aren’t the only thing I’m obsessed with and among those many things is diptyque. I absolutely love everything from this brand and find it to be the epitome of chic. Of course, this Advent Calendar had to be on my list of the best Advent Calendars this year, even though it’s crazy expensive (USD 425).

Another brand (French again) which I love and find to be ultimately chic is Atelier Cologne. Just like diptyque, they are offering this year a Luxury Advent Calendar (HKD 4,000) which is definitely not a treat everybody can afford but loving it that they also have a way more reasonable version: The Discovery Advent Calendar(HKD 790).
 
If you are not yet familiar with the brand, this little beauty is a perfect treat to discover the very unique fragrances of Atelier Cologne and if you know the brand already and love it (just like me), you can only love this calendar which features Cologne Absolue samples in 17 different fragrances, 2 soaps, 2 shower gel, 2 body lotions and the iconic Clémentine California (one of my fav!) in 7.5 ml.

The yummy one: La Maison du Chocolat

I had to have a chocolaty advent calendar in this selection but not any chocolate will do. It’s Christmas time after all and you know me, I’m a foodie so I’d rather not have an Advent Calendar than having one of those with that terribly sugary and absolutely bad chocolate we used to have when we were kids. La Maison du Chocolat’s Advent Calendar never disappoints! First of all thanks to its beautiful design (because this little thing is going to be in my living room for pretty much the entire month of December so I’d rather like it to be beautiful) and then because of the yummy chocolate treats hidden inside carefully crafted by Master Chocolatier Nicolas Cloiseau.

DIPTYQUE – INVIGORATIN BODY BALM

It’s no secret, am a huge fan of diptyque whether it is their beautiful scented candles or their even more beautiful (and totally addictive) beauty line. 
This body balm is probably the most beautiful and precious product in my bathroom. Pure perfection, from the packaging to the scent and the texture. So yes, it’s a little luxury but hey you gotta treat yourselves and your body well, right? 
 
The texture is almost like wax (or butter), melting perfectly on your skin and leaving it super smooth. The scent is just divine: a combination of blood oranges from Sicily, sparkling fresh gingerroot and sweet fresh rose. 
 
I need more diptyque in my life! 
 


ANTIPODES – MINIS 

 
Antipodes  has been one of my fav beauty discovery of the past few months, I love absolutely everything about this premium natural skincare brand and feel like taking my Antipodes products everywhere with me. Well, seems like they heard me because they just released mini versions of their moisturisers, serums and face oils. Absolutely perfect for travel addicts like me. Also perfect when you have a busy lifestyle and need an extra dose of moisturisation during the day: never without my mini Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream in my bag!

Lookfantastic is my fav website when it comes to ordering beauty products. I like it that they offer pretty much all my fav beauty brands (ok diptyque is missing but I don’t really mind as I just love so much going into a diptyque’s store and would never order their products online): French and non-French ones!
