TRi: A Balinese break in Repulse Bay

If you are looking for the perfect setting for a nice and exotic evening, head to TRi, a Balinese restaurant in Repulse Bay. It is our heartthrob of the month. The decor is sublime. Part of the Le Comptoir group (behind Bibo et Hotshot), it dazzled us. Subdued lighting, wall-mounted planters, bamboo, lotus-shaped private booth seating, stone tables, a gigantic high table made from a massive tree trunk. Nature is basically the resounding theme of the restaurant, not to talk of the unbeatable sea view behind a row of palm trees. We recommend reserving one of the private booth for a more relaxed evening. But be sure to leave your high heels and mini skirt behind since you will be sitting on cushions. As for the food, our favorite was the Jejeruk Chicken, also try the Duck Goreng, and Lobster Bakar and the Nasi Goreng. The dishes are delicious and presented beautifully, while the waiters are attentive. For brunch lovers, TRi offers a superb champagne brunch. To drink, TRi has arranged a choice of free-flow Louis Roederer champagnes, beginning with the Brut Premier or, for the more discerning diners, the 2007 Cristal.
In short, this is definitely a place to try at once!

TRi
Shop 302, 3/F, Lobby C The Pulse, Repulse Bay
2515 0577
Closed Mondays and Tuesdays

The bill (for 4 people)
1 Jejeruk Chicken : 190 HK$
1 Soft Shell Crab : 180 HK$
1 Duck Goreng : 180 HK$
1 Mixed Sate : 160 HK$
2 Lobster Bakar : 2 X 520 HK$
1 Iga Sapi : 320HK$
1 Seafood Nasi Goreng : 150 HK$
1 bottle Schubert Pinot Noir : 980 HK$
2 Still Water : 140 HK$
Total = 3,340 HK$ + 10% service charge

www.tri.hk
www.facebook.com/trirestaurant

Repulse bay’s beach side has changed a lot. Its massif mall and its line-up of sea-facing restaurants, The Pulse delights us with its cool relaxed atmosphere and its numerous activities catering to all!

We like: the Californian vibes of Hotshot, the extremely sought-after swing at Classified, the delectable nitrogen ice creams at Lab Made, the deliciously fresh fish at Limewood, the children play areas, the beach, the sea resort feel that send us on an early holiday…. Both night and day, The Pulse never fails to charm.

We like less: as The Pulse becomes more and more popular, the crowds can sometimes be daunting.

Our advice, remember to book a restaurant because you’re not alone in making it your weekend escapade. Take a look at their activity program, see you at the beach side promenade!

The Pulse
28 Beach Road, Repulse Bay, HK

Website
Facebook
Instagram - thepulsehk
