JOHN MASTERS ORGANICS – HAIR MASK FOR DAMAGED HAIR WITH HONEY & HIBISCUS

March beauty hits
It has now been more than 6 months since I went from a very dark blonde to a super super light one. Baby blonde, I call it. Now only trusting Clément at Emmanuel f. for fixing my colour and freshening it up when needed (which is pretty much every 6 to 8 weeks – God, having the perfect blonde is expensive, am telling you). Something I love about this new colour? On top of the fact that it’s beautiful? I get to play a lot with it and also try many different hair products. I’m not the kind of girl to stick to one product, no matter how great it is, I just love trying new stuffs too much. So, when a brand I love just like John Masters Organics launches something new, I have to give it a go. Am already addicted to their Rose & Apricot Hair Milk but must confess I haven’t yet find a shampoo or conditioner which I really love in their range. What about their new Hair Mask launching mid-March? It’s dope!

What is it and what does it do?
An intensive treatment for extremely dry and damaged hair. Dying my hair every two months definitely isn’t great for them (even though I’m dying them with organic colour) and I need to take extra care of them, so this is the kind of product I need in my life.
The mask combines bacuri butter and mongogo oil for deep conditioning with organic honey and organic hibiscus for deep moisturizing and shine.

Not even officially out yet (it will officially launch on March 14) but already a must have!

THALGO – EXCEPTION MARINE REDENSIFYING CREAM

March beauty hits
Am aging. I hate to admit it but I am. Will actually be a year older by the end of this month which is bringing me closer than ever to my thirtieth Birthday (am turning 29 on March 12). Gosh, where are my twenties?

Starting to use anti-aging products was definitely not something I was aiming at. I mean, it’s nothing terrible either especially knowing that I’m such a sucker for new beauty products but I just don’t like the idea of me using anti-aging products. Am too young for that shit! (Well, I wish, but not anymore).

To ease things up, I’ve decided to only use anti-aging ranges from brands I love and Thalgo is one of those. I’ve been using the brand for many years now, absolutely loving its marine active principles boosting the beauty of the skin.

This cream is formulated with Algae, known for its fortifying properties, and aims at firming and tightening the skin to lessen the look of wrinkles and lines. It’s not like I have many lines already, but I can really see that my skin looks smoother and more even, which I love. And the texture of this thing is divine, not to mention the fresh scent, making it a pleasure to use every morning and having me forget that the reason why I’m using it is because I’m aging (and no I don’t have any problem at all with turning 30 next year. BUT CAN WE PLEASE STOP TALKING ABOUT IT? Thanks!).

ROGER & GALLET – NÉROLI FACÉTIE EXTRAIT DE COLOGNE

March beauty hits
My addiction to Roger & Gallet is very far from ending!
After falling in love with their Eau Fraîche Feuille de Figuier and its addictive scent of fresh fig last summer  (I was telling you all about it here), I then went through winter wearing the non-less fresh Rose Mignonnerie Extrait de Cologne(a modern fresh rose about to bloom with a flash of mandarin and crispy basil leaves … telling you all about it here). My latest crush? Néroli Facétie, a very summery scent mixing neroli, orange flower absolute, immortelle absolute and essences of ylang ylang. It makes me wanna go on a sunny trip under the tropics!

God, how come all their fragrances are so addictive!

Available at Roger&Gallet store: Facesss L2 OT20, Ocean Terminal TST
