For fans of Mama San’s Bali restaurant, you no longer have to take a five-hour flight to satisfy your taste buds. Mama San has now opened its doors in the heart of Central, Wyndham Street, with an interior equally as warm and eclectic as its Bali branch. But it is the combination of the new restaurant’s Balinese and industrial vibe that makes it a little bit different. Wall paintings, vintage photos, Chesterfield sofas, velvet cushions, high tables under a canopy….it certainly evokes a cozy and warm atmosphere. Chef Will Meyrick’s (aka "street food chef") travels across Asia have inspired him to create Thai, Burmese and Vietnamese dishes, among a wide selection of flavors from Southeast Asia.
