FOFO by EL WILLY : tapas and Sangria at high altitude
By Delphine

Opened since 2010, this Spanish restaurant is celebrating its 5th anniversary, the perfect occasion for us to drop by.
Wellington Street, 20th floor, simple and bright decor, Happy Hours on the rooftop from 6pm … so far so good.
What better way to take in the view than a glass of their famous sangria (red, pink or white) to start. A bowl of gazpacho to get our juices going and we are now ready for the procession of tapas to come. It’s hard to pick: Iberico hams? Spanish anchovies with parsley? Scallop Ceviche with avocado? Asparagus with truffle vinaigrette? Gambas Al Ajillo? Tortilla? Catalan style Cod fish? Ok well we do need to make a decision so we go for 4 tapas to share. We can always order more later.
That won’t be necessary because the portions are quite generous. We’ll have to come back to try out the lobster bisque, the 36 months ham croquettes, the pan-fried squids or the explosive smoked salmon air bag (I don’t actually know what this means but I’m certainly intrigued). Vamos?
